Our journey so far
We're on a mission to end homelessness in Melbourne, beginning with rough sleeping by 2030.
The Advance to Zero methodology we're implementing in Melbourne is already transforming lives across eight council areas and expanding. Our approach is data-driven, compassionate, and proven. Each day, more people find stability and dignity.
The milestones we've achieved represent real people with real futures. As our movement grows stronger, so does our impact. Thank you for being with us on this journey.

Has your LGA joined?
If you can't see your LGA on the Progress page, that means there is no Zero project in your LGA. We don't know how many people are sleeping rough in your LGA or what your local council is doing to end rough sleeping.
Only more homes and tailored support can end homelessness. Knowing everyone sleeping rough in your local area by name, understanding their needs, and providing appropriate housing and support are the only way to end rough sleeping.
The Melbourne Zero movement supports local action groups across different Local Government Areas (LGAs) to help end rough sleeping by 2030.
Be part of change today - take action to help end homelessness in your LGA.
