We exist to deliver quality services to meet the needs of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander People, their families and their communities. We drive positive change and healing for the people we help by focusing on a variety of services such as alcohol and drug treatment and recovery, housing, homelessness and a variety of other services.

Ngwala Willumbong is a State-wide Community Controlled Organisation serving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Victoria.
Founded by our Elders and community Members to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander People, families and community. We provide Alcohol and Drug Treatment and Recovery, Homelessness programs, Public Intoxication Responses, Counselling, Family Violence support, Youth services and more. We have been supporting community for almost 50 years.

We enhance the lives of our community by offering culturally responsive, holistic AOD services, including homelessness and family violence support. We promote physical, mental and spiritual wellness, to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities throughout Victoria.

We honour Culture and strive for culturally strong and safe communities. We promote self-determination, wellness and empowerment across all of our services. Our Vision, purpose and cultural values guide our work.

Quality Improvement Council

The Quality Improvement Council promotes continuous quality improvement in health and community services through the provision of standards, accreditation programs & developmental resources for the benefit of health services users staff and the wider community. QIC Accreditation certifies that the organisation has met the relevant Standards and is participating in the QIC Program to build continuous quality improvement.
